The wedding day jitters have worn off, your vows have been exchanged, and you’re finally married to your life partner. Why not commemorate your first day of marriage with a romantic photo session the day after your wedding?

Danielle and Joe got married at Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos this past February and I was fortunate enough to be their wedding photographer. I’ve gotten to know D+J over the past couple of years and I’ve been lucky to enough to photograph them on numerous occasions, even before their wedding.

The wedding itself the day before was on another level! It’s hard to put into words but the only thing I can say is that the love from D+J’s people and the vibe were SKY HIGH. You basically had to peel people off the dance floor at the end of the night, the music was SO good. There was a 10 foot high bonfire raging pretty close to the dance floor on the beach which burned the whole time except when it was almost swallowed by the waves. There was one point in the reception I seriously thought the entire wedding party was going into the ocean fully clothed! It was an unforgettable night and I was so happy that D+J got the wedding of their dreams with their absolute favorite people.

But these photos are from the day after. We met back up on Grace Bay Beach. All of us tired eyes. Blissed out. But I’d never seen them happier and I think these photos are something special.
